DEPARTMENT: Pinmar Yacht Supply – Superyacht Supply Division

LOCATION: Barcelona

REPORTING TO: Head of Yacht Sales Operations (day to day), PYS General Manager (overall)

DESCRIPTION
Pinmar Supply is looking for an experienced senior retail manager for its flagship store in Barcelona. This person will be responsible for day to day supervision of the retail outlet, including sales, staff, stock and resources management.

PROFILE
A person with a significant experience in yacht supply and retail management, or with a previous background as a Bosun or officer on a superyacht. We are expecting this person to have an outgoing yet professional personality with excellent communication skills, smart in appearance, and a positive attitude. The following skills are essential:

• Management skills, with superyacht experience
• Ability to drive revenue through maintaining the right superyacht products, and delivering excellent customer care
• A team player, able to work constructively with colleagues to deliver to customer requirements
• Ability to learn about new products and technologies
• Confidence in giving product advice and information
• Flexibility to multi-task
• Ability to be friendly and polite under pressure
• Ability to implement procedures correctly
• English (compulsory) and Spanish (basic)

KEY TASKS

• Meet and greet customers from both yacht crew and the public, giving the highest level of service and attention through MB92 Shipyard
• Create strong and lasting relationships with crew members of vessels within the vicinity (MB92, Port Vell)
• Meet with superyacht crew members to understand their needs and address their requests efficiently and on time
• Generate quotes / orders for customer visiting the store or contacting the store by phone, email, or WhatsApp.)
• Deal with customer requests, concerns and returns
• Manage the daily activities of shop staff
• Work closely with Materials Management to ensure the right stock is in place, and that optimal stock levels are maintained
• Research or train as necessary to learn more about the product portfolio
• Daily closure of the cash till
• Maintenance and control of store security
